To build a building on an area which grow grass , bush , tree we have to destroy the plants . After finishing , we never replant the same kind of these destroyed plants .
In reality , the environmental  law , land use policy , LEED standard , construction laws of all the countries on the world never force us to grow these plants again . All the houses , buildings , roads of human got errors of lost ecosystem . Legislators , scientists forget them . We need a global policy for this problem . This is also a chance to make Earth soak more huge CO2 globally .

All US EPA buildings are examples .

This is a check list of LEED system . Even you have platinum certificate , we still lost lost ecosystem because no replant lost ecosystem option in this check list .I also checked LEED v4 2014 and found the same problem .

GreenEnergy can't soak CO2=>can't soak/decrease CO2 of atmostphere=>can't solve Climate Change .When we use 100% solar energy , CO2 of atmosphere still there , only things can soak CO2 can decrease CO2 of atmosphere =>can solve climatre change  

On average 1 adult tree soak 45 lbs CO2/year . 1990 to 2010, US lost/gain an average 384,350 ha forest/year or 0.13% forest area( total 2.6 % from 1990 to 2010 ) . A rate : deforesting 384,350 ha adult trees which soak 45 lbs CO2/tree/year ( will soak 45lbsCO2/year/tree if we don't exploit them) reforesting 384,350 ha young trees - which can't soak 45 lbs CO2/tree/year in all 17 years , until them become adult trees , the weakness of US deforestation/reforestation . We have conservation of forest ha but do we have conservation of CO2 absorption ability of 7,687,000 ha exploited adult trees , when 7,687,000 ha reforested trees are young trees ?

I contact USDA Northern Research Station , they agreed with me about the issue but can't do anything because forest policy were passed by US Congress ( I will forward the conversation to you if I have your email) . I posted question about the issue to EPA Public Access but they don't reply even a word . Time to find a great supporter .






A young tree at 1 year absorb 2.5 lbs Co2 , 2 year absorb 5 lbs Co2 , 3 year absorb 7.5 lbs Co2 , 4 year absorb 10 lbs Co2 ,  5 year absorb 12.5 lbs Co2 ,  6 year absorb 15 lbs Co2 , 7 year absorb 17.5 lbs Co2 , 8 year absorb 20 lbs Co2 , 9 year absorb 22.5 lbs Co2 , 10 year absorb 25 lbs Co2 , 11 year absorb 27.5 lbs Co2 , 12 year absorb 30 lbs Co2 , 13 year absorb 32.5 lbs Co2 , 14 year absorb 35 lbs Co2 , 14 year absorb 37.5 lbs Co2 , 15 year absorb 40 lbs Co2 , 16 year absorb 42.5 lbs Co2 , 17 year absorb 45 lbs Co2 => in 18 year 1 tree absorb : 2.5 + 5 +7.5 + 10 + 12.5 + 15 + 17.5 + 20 + 22.5 +25 +27.5 + 30 + 32.5 + 35 + 37.5 + 40 + 42.5 + 45 = 435 lbs .

But old environment with adult trees only , all every year tree soak 45 lbs CO2/tree , right ? In 18 years if we don't exploit the tree , each tree absorb : 45 * 18 years = 810 lbs CO2 , not 435 lbs CO2 .

So fix this error globally is a chance to make the Earth soak , store more CO2 , a golden chance to make absorbing CO2 > emitting CO2 , after absorb all CO2 at Earth , it begin to soak CO2 of atmosphere . The key is here . Policymaker need to know this problem .




Some examples :





We have to increase CO2 sequestration of plants bigger than CO2 emission of our country , the correct way to solve CO2 emission of our country . We at least must plant enough plants which soak CO2 equal with old adult destroyed plant first , than increase  CO2 sequestration of plants until it bigger than CO2 emission of our country
